I'm not going back to this one, so I'm not looking for specific mistakes to be pointed out. It had been hanging around on my computer for a long time and I was happy with what I had done so I finished up that background and made a few adjustments so it was at least fit to show. I am actually quite happy with it despite the fact that the areas that need more work are glaring at me!

I'd say you achieved, but I know the what you mean by being nagged by what you could do better or have done....I think it's a wonderful piece and put the energy into the next one that you have left over from this one....

What I mean, Jerrembear, is that while I am more than happy to hear critiques, I would rather hear them in terms of what to look out for in future, what I am continuing to do weakly, rather than "her arm is a bit short" or "you should fix her toes".

there is very strong feeling of depth and the painting is overall very clean. I like it very much. your technique is strong so I am accepting everything as right.
